when we gather, and concentrate our good will on the rebuilding of Art City, our actions, voices and thoughts make a difference. i imagine the artists at Art City feel stronger and more positive as a result of our fundraising energies. i also imagine, by extension, that officials at the City of Ventura receive a sense of community and well being where before they got the violation vibe. dunno exactly what it is or how to describe it… but in the past few days sTeVe’s space was inspected and, according to sTeVe, everything went really well. violations were well on their way to abatement. 
an artist in his natural environment. this is how art is born.
